When I Take Out My Contacts With My Eye Makeup On, Do I Do It After Or Before?

At night, when I take out my contacts. Do I do it before or after I wash my eye makeup?

um maybe you should take your contacts out before, but either way should be fine.

I wear quite a bit of masacara every day (top lashes only),plus  eyeliner top and bottom, and eyeshadow.  If i wash off my makeup before taking the contacts out, sometimes makeup gets into my eyes as i am trying to massage the mascara off.  So, I take my contacts out before washing my face, but I have to inspect the lenses very closely, as sometimes flecks of mascara gets on them as I am taking them out.  If you wear mascara on the bottom lashes, you will most likely get some on the lenses, so be sure to clean them in solution well before putting them in again.
