  1. it will probably be in your front wheel suspension, they are called boots and on the tie rod area, get them replaced

  2. If its also popping noise you need to get a drive axle. (soon)

  3. If the noise is there at 50km/h when turning, it's probably a wheel bearing

  4. it could be the belt or a wheel bearing.

  5. if it is a whine and i will bet that it is, your fluid level in the power steering is low or the pump is failing.

  6. Sounds like your pump may be shot...that being said it wont hurt to try flushing the system before you spend alot of money on a new pump...remove as much old fluid as you can with the car running and then add transmission fluid...dexron III will work fine...turn the steering wheel back and forth 5-6 times and repeat 4-5 times removing the fluid and adding dexron...the last time you remove the fluid add Lucas power steering fluid additive and drive the vehicle for a couple days and see if that doesn't fix your problem...if it does not you probably need a new pump and if you don't think you can handle that yourself find a reputable shop...Good Luck
