When I atempt to use my computer no icons show up on my desk top only the bacground?

So when I turn on my computer it loads up normally and gives me some error message and then goes to my home screen and has no icons and no windows bar? Please Help!

Have you tried to left click your mouse and then move down to show desk top item. If there is a check mark then click and uncheck. Your items should show up back on your desk top.
