When I boot up my Dell Inspiron 9300, between the bios and windows screen, I get a bunch of beeps.?

In time with the beeps, the HDD working light blinks. Does anyone know what this means? Is it related to my keyboard no longer working properly?

I had a compaq that did the same thing. On that machine the number of beeps indicate what a problem is, or that everything is working correctly.

Do a search on google for "beeps on Dell Inspirion 9300" see if there is some kind of forum you can find the answers on what the beeps mean.
