When I bought my property I was given a 35 ft. right of way to the river on land that I do not own.?

Now the owner of that land has sold another peice of land near me and has given the same right of way that I use, to that person. Is that legal???

It's called an easement

You don't own his land, you just have a right to use it to get to the river and he can give the right to others

you don't have the right to change or build on his land, just the right of way--right to move on it to river

Yes, it's legal.  The owner of the land has the right to let anyone use the right of way.
