When I buy my new phone from AT&T, will my other phone stop working?

I'm going away for a while, but this deal is going to end before I come back, but I am leaving before the package with the new phone arrives. So if I take my cellphone with me, will it still work, or will AT&T have deactivated it when they sent the new one?

well your old phone will still be active but when you get your new phone you have to call up ATT and activate you new phone and you old phone will sometimes receive messages after it is deactivated (at lest that's what mine did)

Your old one will continue working untill you activate the new one

Your old phone will continue to work untill you activate your other phone... or change sim cards. im not sure exactly what at&t is using right now
