When I clean my stove top with Formula 409, should I use a sponge or a rag?

Usually I use a rag as I try to only use my sponge for dish washing, but either will do nicely.

You did not say what type of stove you have.  If its a solid surface then do not use the sponge if it has scrubby on it.  If  just a regular gas or electric  then not to worry use either or.

Either.  I like using a dish rag if im just cleaning after cooking, but for dirtier jobs i use a sponge and barkeepers friend.
