When I connect the nano

Question

When I connect the nano to the computer and itunes it syncs the music but when I disconnect it the ipod tells me to use Itunes to restore in four languages. I have already reset it, doing the menu and center button twice. It resets to use Itunes to restore in four languages. Any suggestions? Also after I synched the music it webt into a screen of a checkmark and ok to disconnect.
