When I connect to a Hotspot with my Palm TX I have to confirm I accept the conditions but I can't get further

Question

In Wireless Hotspots I am asked to tick to accept the T&Cs which I do but then the same page keeps coming up without letting me actually browse the internet. Is it a setting problem or to do with the hotspot?

you often need to page down and enter your user account and password to continue.

that's typical with Open zone etc.  without the user account information they cannot confirm your identity and so the start-page keeps appearing!
