I use DVD FAB HD Encrypter and then DVD Shrink 3.2 but the copy of the movie will not play on all my systems in the house....only some of the players. I have always recorded on DVD+R. It doesn't matter whether the system is self-contained in a TV or a separate player component. I tried what 'Norm' suggested by recording on DVD-R but I still get the error message "Disc Error". It has worked in the past but since I bought the new DVD Shrink 3.2 it has given me this problem. Thanks for any help. I don't want to have to buy or re-install a new software if I can help it. 'Brain' and Howerson suggested using another software....I may have to try it if I can't figure out why I'm having this problem.

  1. cause most DVD movie are encrypted( CSS Copy right protected), you will need to have a 3rd party DVD copy software to help you, take a look at http://www.dvdtoappletv.org/dvd-copy-sof... this unbiased and detailed comparison chart of top 5 DVD copy softwares, 1 Click DVD copy is the best and works great for me.

  2. Hi Gregory,

I am sorry my -R suggestion didn't work. The fact it works on some players but not other players is very confusing.

It almost appears to be something in DVD shrink. All I can suggest is to check and see if they have released an update. If they have a problem it won't be long before a patch is available.

I wish I could be more help.

    Norm
