When I eat at a restaurant and I want to sit where a specific table is... can I just walk over and sit there?

  1. They won't charge you a fee, but your waiter might spit in your food.


  2. It would be more polite to ask to be seated in that spot.

Nah...go for it...or request a specific spot instead of just walking in and sitting where you please...most places ask that you wait to be seated, so I think if you just ask for a specific seating they wouldn't mind...I have done it so I know it can be done...and I seriously doubt anyone spit in my food for it either.....
