I have diabetes type II, which is normally well controlled with oral meds. But whenever I experience angina, my blood sugar spikes for a couple of days. After that, it's back to normal, and the spikes don't seem to affect the A1C. What would cause this?

  1. Any kind of stress or anxiety will spike your blood sugar. It doesn't take much sometimes for it to spike. It can take several days for it to come down.
