  1. no, the antennae is for analog signals. You just need the digital converter box

  2. Yes you do. Digital TV broadcasts are sent to your TV the same way that analog ones are.

In North America, analog & digital broadcasts use the same antennas. Usually an antenna that gives good analog reception will also give good digital reception as well.

  3. of course you need a antenna. Digital tuners work and look alot better then analog tv. You will like it.

  4. Yes you do,i got one thinkin yay no more antenna...wrong, still need it, it plugs into the back of the box. i got two from walmart, used it for about a week, one just quit working on me wouldnt turn back on in the morning, then i just disconnected them. They are super annoying most the time w/just an antenna if u have static or an unperfect picture u can still watch the channel, with the converter box, the channels freeze up and a message comes on telling u its lost is signal and to adjust. it sucks. the only bonus was i did get a few extra channels but its was a pain trying to watch them. Its just another way to try to get us all to pay out the a*s for cable....boooooo
