when I get my period people say that I get really depressed to the point where I will actually hurt myself and just on Saturday night my cousin and aunt said that I called them crying and my mom said that I kept wanting her to call people and that I was trying to do crazy things but the thing is I don't remember any of this... All I remember is that I went to bed and woke up in my moms room... I don't know what to do I don't want to hurt myself or keep being over emoational when I'm on my period and not know that I'm doing it...

  1. it is normal to have a BAD MOODS during our monthly period because our homones changes too that's why we easily get irritated...

but in your case, this is very rare  cases and not just blame it to your menstrual cycle but i think there is something more serious that you need to know...

please ask your doctor (they know more than us)...

  2. See your doctor as this sounds like a hormonal imbalance or clinical depression.

  3. So far all the answer i have seen is right. I have some weird mood swings and i have sort of grown out of a lot of them. Mine has never been to that extent just because of my hormones. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety earlier this year maybe you have more issues then just your hormones. If not that then you should seriously ask your doctor.

  4. moodswings are normal...but not to the point where your trying to hurt yourself. You need to see a doctor as soon as you can. It good be a more serious underlying problem. black outs arent normal either. If you can remember an event like that then somethings wrong. Tell your mom to take you to the doctor.

  5. talk to a doctor, asap.

  6. You may have a condition known as premenstrual dysphoric disorder or PMDD. Premenstrual dysphoric disorder or PMDD is a condition associated with severe emotional and physical problems that are linked closely to the menstrual cycle.
