When I have opened Yahoo,clicked on my in-box the cursor change to the hour glass but then freezes my screen?

If I access Yahoo via Internet Explorer Yahoo works perfectly, but when i click on my icon it gives me the egg timer which freezes the screen.

I dont have a answer but mine do the same even when i restart my computor a few times.It is more than 2 weeks already did you get any answers to the problem that helped.
