When I hit "shift", "alt", and "ctrl" the word of the key I hit shows up on screen. How can I make it stop?

I'm using Windows Vista. This just started about... three hours ago and it's getting REALLY annoying.

  1. you have either change the Regional location or activated the language bar option. to disable it or change the sequence, you may perform the follow steps.

    goto "control panel" > "Reaginal and Language Option" > "Keyboard and Language" tab > "Change Keyboard" > "Advanced Key Settings" tab > Change the key sequence setting.

    This setting will change the sequence of the language bar call up.
