When I hook my playstation 2 up to my HC5000 front projector I cannot see the full image?

I see the picture, and have sound works great, but it is cutting off the image on the right side of the player. I have tried messing with the aspect ratio, and lens shift, but both still cut off the image. I have plenty of screen to spare, so not an issue of the projector running out of space, b/c for movies it is awesome and get full picture. It is almost like a black line on the right side that is overshadowing the image???

  1. I'm guessing on this because I don't have a Mitsu but mt Panny has input menu that lets you change the way each input handles the signal. If you go into the menu then the input menu, you should have whatever input the PS2 is on set to "auto". I'll see if I can lookup your manual to get you better instructions but that's the way the panny works and I would think Mitsu is similar.

Perhaps a better answer: I found the manual online (linked below if you want it). You should try the "signal menu" and change the horizontal position. Pages 28 and 33 explain it.

    4. SIGNAL menu

    ITEM SETTING FUNCTION

HORIZ. POSITION 0 - 999 Use to adjust the horizontal position of the projected image.

VERT. POSITION 0 - 999 Use to adjust the vertical position of the projected image.
