When I make tea with my tea maker, after a while I would have a greasy surface served tea cups! help me.?

I'm sure tea maker and cups are all neat and not oily.

even the tea maker is new. I heard that this would happen and so I started using canned water, but the problem still happens.

can you help me please ?

There are oils in the tea.  The brewing brings out the oils, if you are using a flavored tea there may be more things that have oils like oranges or lemons.

how many times have you made tea with it. I have that perblem sometimes. Our tea pitcher gets stained so I bleach it. I would try that.
