  1. It is not a problem just have your visa extended 7 days before it expires.  By the way Philippines is not in Africa as was said by the other person, it is in the Southeast Asia.  And the people are referred to as Filipino for men and Filipina for women.

  2. ok well some people are confusing visa with the credit card and i expect youre talking about travelling. by extending it do you mean youre going to live there? because if you are then you would have to but i dont think you'll have trouble with it.

  3. @buyaksha (or whatever that was): His spelling is correct, mind you...

@question: you could do up a permanent... But I don't think you'll have that much trouble...

Even with a bit of trouble, i'm sure you'll be willing to endure it a bit with patiece...

Or at least, for the sake of your marriage with your girlfriend...

    GoodLuck with that! =D

  4. As an Australian citizen, you can stay in the Philippines visa free for up to 21 days. Should you wish to extend your visa, you need to file it 7 days before the expiration of your visa. The processing can take 1 or 3 days using the express lane, one week is using the regular lane. The procedure is simple and you surely won't have any problems extending it. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials.

  5. You can extend your visa now up to 16 months. After you submit your 13a (spousal visa) there is no more need to extend your tourist visa.

  6. you have problem with your extended family, not your travel visa.your credit cards are another issue.

  7. im nt married

  8. Good luck mike..

  9. No, you will not having trouble extending your visa, special you have a very good reason to stay there more, because your getting marriage, but really no trouble at all  even your reason is pleasure trip only.

  10. You can keep extending up to a total of one year stay then you have to leave country and come back again.

Anytime you enter The Philippines and your Filipina wife is with you, go thru immigrations checkpoint together and ask for balakbayan stamp.  Its good for one year stay and you don't have to keep getting extensions every 2 months.

  11. Once you marry your girlfriend, you can apply for permanent residence in the Philippines. I suggest that before you tie the knot, try to inquire from the Bureau of Immigration for the requirements for the said immigrant visa application.
