When I open an email attachment, why doesn't the new window display the content?

When I open an email attachment, the default window that opens up is empty. However when I resize the window the content appears, regardless of the original size of the window. I can open the same email attachments on a different machine and it works fine...any ideas?

Detach the attachment & save it on my document. Hope you are aware how to detach the attachment. Right click on the attachment & click on "save as' & save the file.

Now you open the saved file & re size as you wish & save it.
