When I plug my camera in, nothing happens?

I have a Samsung D760.

When i plug my USB cord into the camera, and into the computer,

then i turn the camera on..

nothing happens,

the computer doesn't show that its been plugged in

and the camera just stays in take a picture or review mode

neither of them recognize that ive connected it..

and the cords in tight.. its not like its loose??

There's a switch on the camera that turns on the uploading.  It's usually the same k**b that changes it from manual to automatic mode. When it's activated, the screen will go blank and you won't be able to take pictures, but you will be able to upload them to your computer.

You can avoid all this drama by using a USB card reader (about $10).  Then just use  your computer skills to drag and drop your image files to your computer.

That happened to me before.

I just tried it another time and it worked.

I suggest recharging your batteries in the camera perhaps.

Or read the instruction manual.
