Question:

When I plug my headphones into my computer, I only get sound from 1 side. The headphones work fine elsewhere?

How do i get the sound to play out of both earphones? They work fine in other devices. I have Windows XP

  1. Try using a Y 3.5mm splitter.  You'll need a Y splitter with one male, two females coming from your computer, and then another splitter with one female, two males that plug into your headphones.  Connect the two splitters together, and you will transering the right or left speaker into one speaker.


  2. I think I just answered another one of your questions on here. Sounds to me like something is wrong with your computer.

    Go into the control panel and into sounds and audio devices. Click the audio tab at the top and under playback device...click 'advanced'.

    There should be a scroll bar under 'speaker setup'. Make sure its on an appropriate setting. stereo. If its on stereo try putting it on mono so all sound goes through one channel instead of two. If mono works its possible one of your internal stereo sound channels is broken or messed up.
