When I plug my ipod into my computer a box flashes up saying "Administrator has prohibited access....?

In other words, my songs aren't being allowed to be put onto my ipod. This isn't an apple ipod problem though; its the settings on my computer which i seem to be unable to alter.

I am the computer administrator according to my computer though.

Please can anyone with technical knowledge of computers help me?!?

This problem seems to happen a lot on Acer machines due to some code they load before they ship...
