When I post a message at 7:53 AM, why is it date stamped 3:51 PM (same day)?

This is very misleading. I was answering a post stamped 6:32 AM. When was it really posted?

well, this could have to do with the setting of time zone on your group and also your own ISP. to check your groups time zone, go to calendar on the left of the group- look to the right under the very small calendar box for Time Zone and click the link area- Yahoo is Ca time, and I heard also this affects it regardless but not sure if that's true or not.
