When I post a message to my yahoo group, my IM address won't show, only my email address. HELP !!?

I want others to see my IM address so they can IM me.

your IM is part of your group posting info and can be seen on the groups recent archives- it will either have a yellow smile when you're lit up that says "Send IM" or it will say "Offline". do you see either of these things on the group? if so which? you'd need to go to your profile area, (view my profiles) and uncheck at the bottom * Check the box to hide my online status () from other users.What's this?

An IM address is not a part a yahoo group message.  

If your IM is the same as your Yahoo! ID, it is listed in the group member page.  But the Yahoo! ID does not show up on the group messages.

You will have to add it manually at the bottom your messages.  

As a moderator, I have all kinds of little things saved in a draft page that I copy and paste to messages depending on the situation.
