  1. go back space it out of your yahoo profile as well as your yahoo account

  2. Go to http://my.yahoo.com and sign in.

Click on "My Account" near top of screen.

    Enter your password again.

On the far right side of page, click on "Edit/Create Profiles."

Near top of page, to the right of the profile you wish to edit, click on "Edit".

Click on "Edit Profile Information" tab.

In the field "Real Name", delete your real name and type in whatever you would like your "screen name" to be or just delete your real name and leave it blank.

Scroll to bottom of page and click on "Save Changes".

  3. Yes, you need to do it thru your Yahoo Mail account if you are using Yahoo Mail for your e-mail program.  To change the settings for it go to: General Preferences and then it will show you a box where it would show your name.  You can then take out the information that's there and add something else like "bb" (an example only) which is not an indication of a real name.

Then click "Save" and the change should then take effect.

But when you sign your name to messages that you post people are going to know who you are.
