just take and push forward. clip then spray w/ hair spary.

the best thing to do is backcomb your hair before you clip it. Its also called teasing or french lacing or ratting go to this site to learn how to do it. http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art2...

but only back comb the section you are clipping back and use a strong hairspray to keep it in place :]]

When you pull it back, push it foward a little bit, and then put some hairspray in it, then hold it with a clip. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
