I'm trying to record a message I found on the internet. So I put it on my MP3 player and I connected my MP3 player to speakers. Then I put the speakers near the answering machine, press the play button on my MP3 and the record button on my answering machine. Then when I playback the message on my answering machine, the message is very scratchy. Why is this happening? Is it because the speakers are too close to the mic? What's wrong?

  1. that just happens wenever u try to record ne type of thing from another device onto a phone cell phone or line phone, its something to do with the sound waves i think, u could try turning down the volume or trying it from a distance

  2. Generally, though vinyl is a pretty tough substance, handling or storage mistakes will cause scratches to appear.  While a good cleaning (see below) will help clear up many of the sins of scratches, in most cases, you'll end up with either an audible click or a skip, depending on the severity of the scratch.  With our products automatic click and pop remover and some creative playback, this problem can almost be totally eliminated. If you just follow the General Record Restoration techniques listed below and use DC SIX or DC Millennium for your audio restoration software, in most cases, scratches will no longer be a problem when you're converting your treasured vinyl to CD.

  3. Because the speaker has a magnet in it. The same reason you can't put a magnet close to a computer. At least not a strong magnet.

  4. Because speakers have magnets in them.  That is why it is making that scratching noise.  Just like how you can't put a magnet up to a computer.  Hope this helped! :)

  5. CUZ! they have magical pixieworms in them.

  6. I don't know... You're the computer guy... You fix it.
