When I send an email through a yahoo group, there is double line spacing in my messages. Why? I am owner...?

I am the owner/moderator of each group in which I have this problem. No other messages from other members seem to have this problem. It looks very unprofessional and is distracting from the messages I need to send. There must be a setting somewhere that is causing these extra lines to appear. Please help!
