When I serve AST(Aviation Survival Technician) at Coast Guard,,,

Question

When I serve AST at Coast Guard, they certificate me a Paramedic qualification?

If no, should I take a test?

and,

Do they give me Citizenship? same as Army or Navy

First the military does not give you citizenship.  You have to get that on your own.  I know after you graduate AST "A" school you go to Petaluma for a a three week course and get certified as a EMT, just not sure which level you get certified as.

As far as citizenship is concerned you must have your citizenship before your first enlistment is up or you will not be able to reenlist.
