I was on my computer when my electric cut out. ever since when I log in to my windows live messenger this message appears:

"an error has occurred in the script on this page"

"Line: 2"

"Error 'a' is a null or not an object"

"Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?"

I don't know what this means or how to rectify it - I always select 'yes' when it asks if I want to continue using scripts on this page but the message still appears every time I log on. What Does this mean is there a serious problem and how do I fix it? I'm not very good when it comes to computers so please reply in a language a child would understand! Thanks!

  1. When you lost your power part of the program got changed or is missing.

Go to windows add remove programs, remove live messenger.

    Then reinstall it. Problem resolved
