  1. I would definitely not start driving without warming it up. When your motor is cold, all the oil is at the bottom in the pan therefore there is almost no oil in the heads to lubricate the valvetrain. By letting it warm up you are giving it time to let oil pump do it's job and also once the motor gets to operating temperature the thermostat will open and allow Coolant/antifreeze to flow through your motor.

  2. i would let it warm up a little bit, like 2-3 minutes.

  3. Especially in cold weather, warm it up.

  4. You should always warm up your car. If You do not, you can cause serious harm to your engine in the long run. Even on a hot summer day, your engine can get cold when it sits long. so when you turn it on you have to let the oil circulate and the pistons will then move with less friction. If you do not, then the pistons will grind against the cylinder and you will eventually get problems. If yr in a hurry and must go ,then do not accelerate much, but al least warm up until a quarter of the way.

  5. They guys are right, the oil need to be circulate through out the engine.  Give it a few minutes and you will be ready to go on..

  6. after you start it and you see all the check lights on the dash go out you can go.
