  1. blue screen of death. Try going to safe mode when you first start up by pressing F11 or whatever it is. Then go to system restore. RESTORE about 1 or 2 weeks back. Could help

  2. sounds like you're missing a critical .dll

you can try booting in safe mode or formating your computer to completely eradicate any spyware/malware/virus/etc.

  3. Try turning off the computer and then waiting 10 seconds. Hold down the on/off button until you see something come up on the screen while holding the button down you need to be tapping f12 or f3 Try f3 first follow the safe mode instructions then if that doesn't work try the f12 button. make sure you start it in safe mode. I hope this helps you I spent 4 hours on the phone trying to get help. But this is what he had me do.

  4. try running a repair, boot from your xp cd select the repair option from the recover console select logon to access your system and then type chkdsk /r might take a while to go through all the disk, depending on the size

  5. Dang, that bites! Sorry to say that my advice is to re-install Windows. You might even need a new hard drive. It's hard to say without knowing what the error message says,........even then, it's tough.

  6. next restart:

press f8 and select to disable the auto restarting on error

start up the system and write down the information.

f8 to safe mode to continue with some scan/cleaning

    or

f8 to go back to a previous time.

info for the future, if you're taking out viri/spy/mal/adw do it in safe mode after doing a system restore point... this will avoid most of the bsods due to a file (that shouldn't be running) is missing a portion of itself because you don't want it to run.

  7. Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This  problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info
