I've noticed that I look like a totally different person when I wear contacts (in a bad way). Everything seems a lot bigger and uglier. I don't like to wear contacts because when I look in the mirror, I don't recognize the person i see. Does anyone know the reason for this? Which form of vision is the real one? Glasses or contacts?

  1. I am assuming you are nearsighted, your  glasses use concave lenses to correct for the problem, but in the process, they make everything look smaller. When you wear your  contacts, this effect of making things look smaller is much reduced, because with contacts, the lenses are much closer to where the lens in your eye is, so, what you see with contacts is closer to reality. It probably looks strange because you are more used to wearing glasses.

  2. i would go with what feels most comfortable to you. But you look different without glasses because you are not used to seeing yourself without glasses. Once you get used to the contacts you will think you look ugly with the glasses, but not the contacts

  3. Hate to tell you , but your vision is more natural with the contacts.
