  1. yes

you can make as many friends as you can make yourself friendly

  2. Extremely easy, you are on the same ship with the same people for a week or so, and depending on your daughters age she should find no trouble meeting people.

  3. Yes, a cruise is my favorite vacation. You will meet people from all over. It is nothing like visiting a resort. It is much more relaxed...like a big friendly get-together. You may even keep in contact with some when your trip is over. Ask for email addresses and share pictures. I just reserved a cruise trip in December...Im looking forward to it as much as Im sure you are. Have a great time!!

  4. YES!!!!  Its such a relaxed and confined environment that its hard NOT to spend your time chatting to complete strangers. Especially in lifts (elevators) and at meals.

  5. Yes, I encourage her to sign up for the teen club.  They have events that put the teens together.

I also recommend your getting a set of the 2-way radios to keep in touch while on board the ship.

It will give you piece of mind and your daughter the freedom to explore the ship or be out with her new vacation friends.

We use them with our daughters and we don't have to run around looking for each other or miss events because someone "forgot" to check in.

  6. YES

  7. Yes, you will find that most people are open to making new friends while cruising.  On our first cruise with our 3 daughters, we were assigned seating at a dining table with a family with 2 sons.  They all became fast friends, and we spent our shore excursions with them and had a completely wonderful experience.  We still keep in touch 12 years later.

    Bon Voyage!

  8. Yes, but I would also be cautious of the staff on the cruise (esp. with a teenage daughter).  Part of the "wow that's so neat" factor of a cruise is that the staff almost always learns quickly your names and what you like to drink.  That's okay, but if it is you and a teenage girl, I would just be cautious of who has what information.

  9. Yes.  Everyone on the cruise is there for the same reason...to relax and have a good time.  Depending on the cruiseline and the age of your teenager will determine how much fun she will have.  Check into activities for her age group.  You will have no problem, however she may get bored if there isn't alot geared toward her age. Depending on when you go also plays a factor in how many children are on the boat also.  During summer break is the best time for more kids to be there.

  10. From what I here it is very easy to make friends, plus there is plenty to do in the mean time! I have also heard the staff are fantastic and will help you and your daughter have a ball.
