When I try to access my stock portfolio on msn money I receive an application error notice?

MSN Money is different from Yahoo! Finance. MSN Money uses a control called an ActiveX Control that runs in your browser. It's this ActiveX Control that gets the error message. You've encountered a bug in the control.

One solution is to use Yahoo! Finance instead of MSN Money. MSN Money used to have better charts, but now I think Yahoo Finance does.

If you want to stay with MSN Money, you should download and install the latest version, if you don't already have it. If you already have the latest version, I don't think there's much you can do. MSN Money saves some files on your computer, but doesn't tell you where they are. If you can find them and delete them, the error might go away, but then you'd probably have to type in all of your portfolio data again anyway.

I really think your best solution is to switch to Yahoo! Finance.
