I have gone to customize and then it asks me to chose from MY photo files???? I just want to select a background theme, similar to the type you chose for myspace. I know they have them I see them on other peoples, but I am so close to computer illiterate that i am having no luck finding them.

  1. Find a photo that you like and use it. I used Photobucket to find mine.

  2. You'll need a BACKGROUND image that you like and then save it to your computer. Then when you change the theme on your yahoo 360 you upload that image and it then will become your background.

look at mine and you'll see what I'm talking about.

  3. You can go on Google Images and select any photo from there to be your background, as well as other image services (yahoo, etc)

Once you save this pic you want onto your computer, go to your 360 page and select Edit Custom Theme next to where it says my page, my friends, invite, home, etc ( on the top of your page). a small box will show up, and you can browse your photos. Double click the photo you want as your background. you can also change your fonts and colors, etc. When you are done with that click on save. it may take a while to load your background, so be patient.

    and there ya go;-)

if you want other peoples background, go onto there pages and then right click on there backgrounds and select "save background as". name your file and do the same as you would normally do to change your background.

Also see kee's answer as it has some helpful hints too;-)

  4. Let me explain: Yahoo! 360 is not like MySpace. They are two different, separate social networking services. You don't use codes to upload themes in 360, like you do in MySpace.  In Y!360 you have do it manually - meaning uploading images that are saved to your computer and picking colors and text fonts. So, if you want to customize your theme beyond the pre-made ones from Yahoo, then you will have to take the time and find a proper image to use.

Please see my answer here on how to do that:
