When I try to import a avi file into windows movie maker it only imports the audio and not the video, how come

The video works in vlc player but not in windows media player. and I would like to publish my video files to put on my zune.

  1. VLC can play more codecs than windows software!

    The Audio codec is different than the video codec and WMM was able to identify the audio part !

    How to fix it ? Try a video converter to change codec !
