What should I do?

I'm not sure, I'm afraid, as I've never had this error, but I suggest that you ask this on Autodesk's official Max forums or somewhere where there are likely to be more people familiar with the problem, like http://forums.cgsociety.org/ . I don't think you will find anyone with specific enough knowledge here.
