When I try to open anything in RTF I get," ?

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Creat an association in the folder options panel. Help.

You can open .RTF in Microsoft Word, WordPad, OpenOffice, etc...

It is a very widely used format, and nearly all word processors support it.

right click the file and select open with.... and choose your preferred wordprocessing program.  Alternatively, open the file from within your preferred wordprocessing program.  If you wish to permanently associate .rtf files with a program, you can do so using the file associations dialogue.
