When I try to read individual emails from my group members, I sometimes may have 2-3 emails.?

But when I go to the digest form there may be 10-12 emails for the same time period. Do I have some setting wrong? Also am not able to receive pictures/images on either setting.

I see two different problems here.

One of them is that you're not receiving pictures/images in your Group e-mails.  These pictures/images are usually put in a message with the attachment feature.  First, not all Groups allow attachments.  To check if yours does, go to its home page.  Partway down the left-hand side of this page is a Group Information box that lists things like the number of members in the Group and the date it was founded.  If you click on the Settings link/tab at the top of this box, you'll get a list of Group Settings that includes whether or not e-mail attachments are permitted.  Even if your Group does allow e-mail attachments, note that if you choose Daily Digest for your Message Delivery setting, you'll never receive these attachments (they're not supposed to be sent out in Daily Digests).  But if you're on Individual Emails instead, you should receive these attachments when they're included with the message (and allowed by the Group, as explained above).  If, while you're on Individual Emails, you see a particular message come to your inbox without any attachments, and you know there were attachments included with the message (and your check above showed attachments are allowed in the Group), then you should report this problem to Yahoo Groups Customer Care by filling out the form at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/... .

The other problem I see is that when you have your Message Delivery setting on Individual Emails, you apparently don't get all the messages that were posted to the Group.  In this case also, it's best to have a specific example, which here would be a specific set of messages that you did not receive while on Individual Emailks.  Report this specific set of messages that you did not get to Yahoo Groups Customer Care by again filling out the form in the link at the end of my last paragraph.

Messages are delivered in batches of 25 or daily, whichever comes sooner. This is the best option if you want to receive fewer mail messages and don't need up-to-the minute posts in your inbox. Email attachments are not available in digests.<-----

Reading from off the group or getting digest, you will not see attachments- you'll need to be on individual mail setting
