When I type the @ sign on my keybrd i get ", have changed regional & lang settings to UK Eng but still z same?

When I type the @ sign on my keyboard I get ", have changed regional & language settings to UK Eng but still does it? Have similar problems with other keys such hash key and can't get a British pound sign.

Besides changing standards and formats to English(UK) on the Regional Options tab , language tab has to change too, details button, installed services, you need make sure services other than English(United Kingdom) is removed, if English(United Kingdom) is not there, click add button to add it.

Moreover, on Advanced tab, make sure the language for non-Unicode programs is also English(United Kingdom), finally check the box in Default user account settings too.
