If you came into my home and saw these beautiful rugs hanging on the walls would you be offended because you know they are prayer rugs or would you think nothing other than they were beautiful pieces of art?

  1. no problem with that.  however to leave them anywhere on the floor is probably not a good idea.  it is customary not to leave a prayer rug on the floor after praying, rather to fold it up and put it somewhere.

  2. but using it as a floor mat,i think thats a big no,no.

because its something we pray on we dont pray on door mats.

but using it as a wall decoration, cool idea!

    what does ur husband think??

  3. Hanging them on the wall I can understand but to me It's a bit unusual to want to use a 'beautiful piece of art' as a floor mat.

  4. i will blow u up and make sushi out of your meat and put it in the rug and eat it!

lol jk no i would not be offended. A lot of people do that and its just a rug anywayz so go ahead

  5. Then do it.  I have rugs on my walls, and the use you buy it for is totally legitimate.  I would admire them as creative artistry, and if there are more than one rug from the same loomer, buy a couple of them.

  6. I wouldn't be offended.  I like a lot of those designs too.  I appreciate Islamic art, it's very geometric.

  7. I also saw some beutiful Morrocan women and did the same - 200dh a night though I left them in Morroco lol

  8. It is perfectly fine to hang them on wall. Do they have picture of Kabah?

  9. No i wouldnt. there very nice aswell. nothing wrong with it.. :)

  10. I would not get offended ;) lol you have given me a good idea since soon I will be re-decorating!

  11. I would never be offended at that.  I think it would be quite beautiful.

  12. Yeah thats a good idea!

I m not gonna get offended by that neither should any one else!

I'd surly think thats a Muslim's home as your husband is, and even if not, I would have no offense as you can do what you please with your house.
