  1. he  canoot up it it what happened is he started driving faster the meter moves faster at 35 or 40 than 15 or 20


  2. he cannot up it. taxi drivers drives fast. so when he started driving fast the meter moves faster. they drive fast to get more runs which means more money for them to live on . nothing wrong with that they have to live too. but because he drives fast does not make your price go up any more. think about it. their the only ones that can speed thru town and get away with it. but they do this for a living so you never have to ask if their lost they know the shortcuts. and if anything does happen it comes back on them not you. but your price is determined on where your coming and going to and from.

  3. Taxi meters charge per 1/6 of a mile or some other obscure fraction you can't easily figure out without a calculator. There fore, it stands to reason that the clicks would add up faster, the higher the speed the taxi was traveling. The driver can't change the rate, it's illegal.
