When I was young, my eyes were really dark brown, almost black--now they are light brownish...?

When I was little, I had VERY dark brown eyes, almost black. Now, as an adult, they are so much lighter..?

Do you have any idea why they would change so much in colour? I am 26 now--and here is a picture of my current eye colour. Sometimes it is greenish, hazelish, or like honey.

Most people's eyes lighten with age - this is completely normal.
