  1. No. I lost over 200 pounds over the last 7 years.  It can be done

  2. click here for some useful tips http://freeweightlosstips4u.blogspot.com...

  3. No, they're showing you a customer who had success using their system, but they're also telling you right up front that the TYPICAL customer doesn't have the same kind of success.  They're letting you know right up front that there are statistics available for you to examine.  They're telling you that losing weight isn't ONLY the result of joining their program.

Remember, a lot of people join a weight loss program because a special event is coming up in a few months or a year or two.  They join the program, lose all of the weight or part of it, go to the wedding or reunion or cruise or whatever - and then they go back to their old eating and exercise habits.  The lost weight comes back and usually brings some new pounds with it.

You also have members who quit the first time they hit a plateau or after they've gone through a few weeks of losing a pound and a quarter this week, regaining a pound next, losing a pound and a quarter, regaining a pound.  Those seesaws and plateaus are discouraging and unfortunately, the "typical" response is to give up.

No program can guarantee that any one specific individual WILL lose weight, or will lose a set number of pounds, or will lose it by a desired date.  The program can't MAKE you follow the meal plan or an exercise program, they can't MAKE you feel motivated, and they can't MAKE you maintain the weight loss once you reach your desired weight.

Not everyone is going to succeed.  These programs give lots of help, but they can only help you as much as you let them.  The people who have the really good results have found the help they need in this program and they have the motivation WITHIN THEMSELVES to stick to it.

"Results not typical" acknowledges that despite everything the program can provide, not everyone will succeed.

  4. Ya, what's up with that. You know most of that stuff doesn't work. They're rip offs. Anything to try to make us take more drugs. and what's up with that. They want to drug us all so when they get the solent green factory going we're to doped up to know better. That's when they're gonna take everyone over 60 to the factory to be processed. LMAO

  5. I have lost 48lbs without any help of any TV commercials.

Just by eating a healthy sensible diet and embarking on regular exercise.

  6. It's not false advertisement b/c they put results not typical.

  7. just covering their bases. you CAN lose 40 lbs if you're strict. you're better saving your money and the same thing on your own- exercise more, eat less

  8. lol, they just want the extremely lazy diet hoppers (people who start one diet craze then switch to another) to know the results aren't promised.

  9. I have lost 56lbs and it IS possible to lose weight without the aid of the silly offers on the TV.

The best thing you can do is eat 1,300-1,500 calories per day and do a cardio exercise at least 4 times per week.

It is false advertisement, I do think things such as 'Slimming World' or 'Weight watchers' can help, I don't think much of the foods they 'allow' you to eat are any good, but the support you get from other members in the group is very good.

As for the expensive machines they try and flog on the TV - a run around your neighbourhood is SO much better.

  10. I say No because they tell you "results not typical".
