...I had clear stretchy discharge and I know this is a sign of ovulation. If I have s*x this afternoon (with intentions to get pregnant), what are the chances I will get pregnant? Percentage?

The discharge as nasty as it sounds could've been left overs from having s*x. We need more info, when was your last period are they regular, etc?

every month you have a 20% chance of getting pregnant. You could increase those chances by tracking your ovulation and having s*x the day before, the day if and the day after. just don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away! good luck!

That clear stretchy discharge is cervical fluid, as you get closer to ovulation your cervical fluid changes. It starts off after your period dry, sticky, creamy, watery, then like eggwhite. This eggwhite fluid is your most fertile time. The closer you get to this eggwhite stage the more you should be having intercourse.

Tried for 8 months to get pregnant by just having s*x and not planning it out. Then planned my pregnancy around this method, noticing the closer it got to ovulation depending on the cervical fluid. It is reccomended to have intercourse every 36 hours 3-4 days before ovulation to have the sperm waiting for the egg, instead of the other way around. The egg will normally only last for 24 hours therefore you need to have the sperm waiting for the best chance of pregnancy.A great site for planning pregnancy around ovulation which in my opinion is the easiest way, and the site I used is here...
