  2. his name will be muhammad  his fathers name will be abdullah  his mothers will be amina  and lot of signs i think you shud read a book based on it

AND DONT BELIVE  1 Q FACTOR

  3. @Faisal

Very true. The prophecy has been fulfilled in 1981-82 but what about the claimant. Nobody, being Imam Mahdi, claimed that these signs appeared for him. Nor even anyone else recognize the that the prophecy is fulfilled for a person. So God showed the sign for his mahdi but Mahdi did not claim them at that time not even after that...its ben 30 yrs now.

We only have one person who openly declared that Solar eclips back in 1894 was the heavenly sign for his appointmnet as Mahdi. He was Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian (see first answer by 1qFactor)

The claimant is here, and the prophecy is fulfilled!

    May Allah guide us all!

  4. He will be the one trying to stop those who say: "I am the Messiah," when really they're the antichrist.

  5. there will be a gathering around him, and a caller will announce his appearance.

    Edit:

to that time, Allah (swt) knows.

  6. Assalamo Alaikum!

People know about the arrival of the Imam Mahdi.  The mullahs and sheikhs know about him and refuse to pass this knowledge to their listeners because it would mean their influence would be gone.  At the same time, whenever a man of Allah has come to Earth, people have been skeptical to accept him for that would require change.  And change is oh so very difficult.  These are the people who give precedence to worldly objects over their faith.

However, those who seek the truth find the truth in the Imam Mahdi and Messiah.  Ahmadiyyat is the true Islam because we once again employ logic to make sense of the world around us.  The Imam Mahdi was the logical fulfillment of the prophecies and not just that, but he was a more than capable soldier in Islam.  His Urdu and Arabic books are filled with knowledge.  His Arabic books and poetry are unparalleled in the Arab world and those who read them wonder how a man from Qadian, India could write Arabic of that caliber.  We see this today and we see people finding the truth.

So long as people seek guidance, we'll be there helping the whole way.

  7. He shall appear on "America Got Talent" for everyone to see and perform the nativity play. Once the face of Hasselhoff glows red, we all shall know he is the chosen one. Mahdi, I mean. Not David.

  8. This "imam Mehdi" is a myth, a fabricated story with no basis in the Quran. Stop expecting some Messiah to Save you and Save yourself.

  9. Imam Mahdi has appeared.  The signs are so clear that any person can see them.  The Prophet (sa) said,

"For Our Mahdi there are two Signs which have never appeared before since the creation of the heavens and the earth, namely, the moon will be eclipsed on the first night in Ramazan (i.e. on the first of the nights on which a lunar eclipse can occur) and the sun will be eclipsed on the middle day (i.e.; on the middle one of the days on which a solar eclipse can occur), and these Signs have not appeared since God created the heavens and the earth."

( Sunan Darqutni, kitabul eidain, chapter: salat-ul-kasoof-ul khasoof wa haitahuma)

This very sign has been fulfilled in 1894.

This heavenly sign was fulfilled during the time of the Promised Messiah, in exactly the way described in the Hadith. The moon was eclipsed on the 13th of Ramadhan, 1311 Hijrah (corresponding to March 21, 1894), and the sun was eclipsed on the 28th of Ramadhan (April 6, 1894). It should be noted that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad is the only person in history who has claimed this heavenly sign in support of his claim.

When he made the claim, he was ridiculed that the eclipses have not happened yet.  His response was that if my Master Prophet Muhammad (sa) has said it, then it will certainly happen.

By the Grace of Allah it did happen and all those with truth in their hearts recognized the glad news that Imam Mahdi and Messih has come.

So really in this case, it has meant a glad tiding for Muslims that the long awaited Mahdi and Messih has come, alhumdolillah.

Sadly, some now say that this hadeeth is fabricated, where as before, all people were ridiculing Hazrat Ahmad (as) that he did not fulfill this sign.  May Allah guide all Muslims.

Saleh Aladdin, a world renouned Muslim astronomer, has written extensivly on this matter.

    EDIT:

@Asker - Everyone knows about it actually.  Rather, all the leaders of every one of the 72 sects of Islam knows about it.  However, they deny this knowledge to be passed to their people lest their people reject them and accept the true Mahdi sent by Allah.

This is nothing new.  Even at the time of the Prophet (sa), all the tribes prevented their people from even going near Muhammad (sa) lest they should become Muslim.  The fact that the Mullahs and supposed Scholars of today are doing the same thing with Hazrat Ahmad (as) should be an indication of who is truthful, and who is lying.

love for all, hatred for none

  10. never heard of such thing..mm..weird but only Allah (swt) will know when that time will come.

    =\

  11. Only Allah Knows. Hadith described some signs.

There are two signs for the Mahdi... The first one is the lunar eclipse in the first night of Ramadan, and the second is the solar eclipse in the middle of this month. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 47)

There will be two solar eclipses in Ramadan before the Mahdi's advent. (Mukhtasar Tazkirah Qurtubi)

... The solar eclipse in the middle of the month, and the lunar eclipse at the end... (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, p. 37)

It has reached me that before the Mahdi emerges the moon will be eclipsed twice in Ramadan. (Related by Abu Nu'aym in al-Fitan)

The most striking point here is that it is impossible for there to be two solar as well as two lunar eclipses within one month. Such things cannot occur under ordinary conditions. However, most signs of the End Times are incidents that the human mind can grasp and realize, depending on certain reasons.

A picture of the July 31, 1981, solar eclipse.

If these incidents are examined carefully, some differences become apparent. The best thing to do in such a situation is to locate the areas of agreement. These are the following: There will be solar and lunar eclipses during Ramadan, these will be spaced about 14-15 days apart, and the eclipses will be repeated twice.

In line with these calculations, there was a lunar eclipse in 1981 (Hijri 1401) on the 15th day of Ramadan, and a solar eclipse on the 29th day of the month. There was a "second" lunar eclipse in 1982 (Hijri 1402) on the 14th day of Ramadan, and a solar eclipse on the 28th day of the month.

It is also particularly significant that in that particular instance, there was a full lunar eclipse in the middle of Ramadan, a most striking prophecy.

The occurrence of these incidents during the same period coinciding with the signs of the Mahdi's emergence, and their miraculous recurrence at the onset of the fourteenth Islamic century for two consecutive years (1401-02) makes it possible for these events to be the signs foretold by the hadiths.

    The rise of a comet

On March 6, the Soviet Vega-1 spacecraft flew within 5.500 miles of Halley's comet, sending back the first pictures of the comet's icy core.

A star with a luminous tail will rise from the East before the Mahdi emerges. (Ka'b al-Ahbar)

A comet will be appearing in the East, giving out illumination before he arrives. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 53)

The rise of that star will occur after the eclipse of the Sun and the Moon. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, p. 32)As referred to by the hadiths, In 1986 (1406), Halley's comet passed by Earth. The comet is a bright, shining star that travels from East to West. This happened after the lunar and solar eclipses of 1981 and 1982 (1401-1402).

The concurrence of this star's rise with other signs of the Mahdi's emergence indicates that Halley's comet is the star pointed to in the hadith.
