When Israel spies on the U.S. just what are they looking for?

We give them just about everything that we have.

They are looking for technology secrets into weapons,engineering, science etc.

I'm guessing they spy for 1) information about our military systems that they can use in their defense industry, and to gain knowledge of potential weaknesses in the weapons systems we have sold to Arab countries and 2) information about the direction our Middle East policy is going, for their own policy planning purposes.

Jesus, they can line up with all the other spies like Bush that think our emails and phone calls are so threatening.

All countries spy on each other, and we spy on them as well as they spy on us.

They spy on us to find out who is spying on them, to make sure we aren't telling them one thing while planning something else, to help them prepare in case we make any boneheaded moves in the Middle East, since, if you remember, during the Gulf War, Iraq sent SCUDs into Israel, not the United States.

While our present government is outwardly friendly, its important to them to know that there is some true backup to that.

Um, what?  They don't require intelligence from us, their intelligence is far better developed and well honed by necessity for its use.  Care to tell me anything about these Israeli spies?  Anything at all, that you can prove by providing some sort of link.
