When Jeffrey Earnhardt gets in cup...?

Question

He will be racing for DEI...if you are a Jr. fan (or not), will you cheer for him even though he is at Theresas company? How will you feel if he is better than Dale Jr. (Not meaning that to be rude, just curious of the reaction he will get from Jr. Nation)?

I think he is going to be great, and I'm curious how many of the Jr. fans will follow him at DEI. Plus, I think he looks a lot like a young Dale Earnhardt and I can't wait until he gets in cup.

I just wonder if Jr. Nation will all be cheering for him, or not so much just because he is with Theresa at DEI (who I happen to like), or for some other reasons.

I`m a Jr. fan & a fan of the Earnhardt name , so sure I`d cheer for him . I just dont have a lot of respect for Theresa and the way she chooses to run TEI that`s right Theresa Earnhardt Inc.

Seperate your observations from your question, and if Jeffery does good at DEI that would be a good thing. And if that's all it comes down to, then Jeffery will be a boon for DEI

I might cheer for him, I might now.  Don't know enough about him yet to have made a decision.  I know nothing of his personality, whether he's humble or overly arrogant, whether he respects or disrespects fans and/or the other drivers.  

For me, there's a lot more that goes into having a favorite driver than last name or whether or not he wins races (Shurb "fans" ?).

I will have to see him drive, find out what kind of style he has, and what kind of attitude he has. I don't have any problem with him driving for DEI though, so that won't factor into the decision of whether I will be his fan or not. If he is better than Dale Jr., so be it. I like one other driver that is better than Dale Jr., lol. I have never said I thought Dale Jr. was THE best, but I will always stand by him, and he is my second favorite.

Jeffrey Nation?

I haven't seen him drive yet, so I won't make any judgement calls on his abilities.

I don't know if I'll be a fan or not, it takes me a while to warm up to "fan" status. And alot has to do with their personality, so I'll have to see.

I loved watching his grandpa, I was a big fan!!

Yes. I will be pulling for Jeffrey. Looking forward to him competing. Any Earnhardt I will pull for no matter who they driver for. Still will be a Dale Jr fan though.

His dad has rights to his name. He beat Teresa to getting those rights. That may be the only thing that saves DEI from falling apart.

I think Jeffrey will be great once he gets into Sprint Cup, sure I will follow him whether he is at DEI or not. Since greatness does tend to skip a generation sometime, I bet he ends up being better than Dale Jr.. He's got talent, if he follows in his grand fathers foot steps, just don't follow in Kerry's footsteps, he'll do just fine. Yep I will be cheering for him, I'm so over Teresa, thats last yrs old news..I've moved on.,

I would love to see him do well regardless of who he is with.  Not a fan of Jr.'s.   So unlike others I would not "follow" him because of his uncle.

If he goes to Hendrick's I would hope that they give him decent equipment.  If not I would like to see him with another team.

Yeah!  Can't wait till he gets to Cup, can't wait to see how well he does!  Yeah I agree he looks very much like his Grandfather, so does his Dad, Kerry.  

It doesn't matter what team a driver drives for.  I cheer for a couple of other drivers at DEI, who knows why Theresa is the way she is, but she isn't the driver.  

I have my fav drivers, and some are on teams that have drivers I don't care for at all.  

Do you cheer only for drivers that are in Kyle's team?

I will like Jeffrey if he is a good driver and a decent person. Just the name isn't enough for me.  

If he drives for DEI (assuming they are still viable when he gets to cup) that would be fine. I wouldn't rule out him driving for JR motorsports though, that is where the rest of the family is.

I haven't heard about Jeffrey Earnhardt but i don't want to see any more earnhardts in nascar.  I think nascar will improve and get more consistent with their penalties once jr retires.
